Wahoo season opener does not disapoint

The Wahoo Home opener at Starr Jaycee Park was held today at 2pm against the Lah-De-Dah Base ball club of Greenfield Village. The Lah-De-Dah’s won the bat toss and opted to let the Wahoos strike first. And strike they did! The Wahoos shocked the Dahs by bating through their order and tallying 10 aces in the 1st inning! The Wahoo defense held stout, only allowing the Dahs to tally four aces in the first five innings. The fine fielding by the Dah’s held the Wahoos to only one more tally until the fifth inning. The Wahoo bats were on fire in the fifth! The Wahoos tallied an unprecedented fifteen more tally’s that inning. Including “Doc” Mark Schuster unleashing the beast and smashing a ball over the second baseman’s head. The ball just fell right and the bats couldn’t miss for the Wahoos today. Both clubs played fine ball but the Wahoos came away with a victory today. We thank our friends The Lah De Dahs for their fine play and sportsmanship. We look forward to playing them at the village in July.
